remember when your high school guidance counselor gently tried to push you away from pursuing your life as being an artist, or tried to convince you that you would be better off making it into more of a hobby, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to afford to live? in a lot of ways, 2011 for me has felt like the year that finally turned out to be true. that being said, it’s all totally been fucking worth it. also, i won’t pretend that i ever had a choice in the matter.
