a cinema of sunshine

got into a big talk with my friend about whether or not there have been any really great albums over the last few years, and how maybe that’s a function of the digital age, and how music has become to much like a disposable commodity.  i keep coming back to Beach House’s Teen Dream, which i love deeply, as much as say Nevermind or Appetite for Destruction, or other big records from when i was a kid.
