This week’s Mad Men episode was amazing. It totally resonated for me in a bunch of different ways. Pete’s crack-up is getting pretty menacing, and there were some thrilling moments there.  The Ken storyline hit close to home, because I often feel like I’m leading that sort of double life, where I’m balancing my day-job career and my creative life after hours.  The pressure that is put on him to abandon or “get over” his creative pursuit is something that I sometimes expect from my boss and co-workers.  Thankfully it never comes, but the fear of it effects me, and sometimes I feel like I have secrets.  Also, on a somewhat related note, I’m thinking about creating an all-Joan related Pinterest board.
